Milan are nearing the signing of Bennacer, who spent two years in North London before moving to Italian side Empoli.
As part of that deal, Arsenal inserted both a buy-back option as well as a reported 30 per cent sell-on clause for any future transfer.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has now revealed Empoli are close to selling Bennacer to their league rivals for 14m plus add-ons.
