The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the Class XII results today. This year, 17,80,365 students had taken the CBSE Class XII examinations, of which 17,68,968 appeared and 15,07,109 passed. Adhering to the new policy, the board did not release any merit list.

Kashish Nischal emerged as district topper and also the topper in humanities with 99.6% score. Aradhya Arora, a student of Springdale School from Humanities scored 99.4% marks to emerge second in district. Aradhya is now on course to pursue a degree in BBA from Christ College. “I want to turn an innovator-entrepreneur as I feel that financial independence and innovation go hand-in-hand,” she said.

In medical stream, Japjeet Kaur from Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, GT Road, scored 99.2 % marks to become the topper. Speaking about her success, she shared that consistent effort, regular revision and disciplined study habits played a key role.

Satyam Vashisht of Springdale School was a close second with 99% marks. Suhana of Bhavans SL Public School scored 98%. Navleen Kaur of Springdale School was the topper in commerce stream with 98.8% marks. Manroop Kaur of the Senior Study II emerged as the school topper in humanities and second in district with a score of 98.6%, followed by Mehtab Brar of The Senior Study II with 98.4%.

DAV International School’s Garima Arora and Pearl jointly scored 98.2%. Other meritorious students from Senior Study II include Kanishka with 97.2% and Tarushi Mahajan with 96.8 %.

In non-medical stream, Ayushi Kumari and Anshuman Gupta of Bhavans SL Public School scored 98.8% marks to jointly emerge toppers. Diavik Sehgal of The Senior Study II scored 96.6% and Shramay Mahajan of Springdale 96.8 % marks.

The other meritorious students include DAV Public School’s Nikunj Sharma of Commerce, who secured 98.6% and stood first in the school, Samaira Khanna of Humanities secured 98.4% while Yashvi Gupta of commerce secured 97.8%.

Anshpreet Kaur, a student of Khalsa College Public School, got 97 per cent marks in science stream, while Navdeep Kaur got 96.6 per cent marks in the commerce stream. Khushpreet Kaur (commerce) got 95.4%, Ravreet Kaur (commerce) 95% and Aksdeep Singh (science) got 94.4%.

Among the students of Khalsa College International Public School, Sukhdeep Kaur, a medical student, secured first position by scoring 94.6%, Mehakpreet Kaur of humanities secured second position from the school with 94% and Khushdeep Kaur of commerce secured third position from the school with 93.2%.
