
MANILA, Philippines — Nxled remained unscathed and dealt Cignal its first loss of the tournament via a straight-set victory, 25-19, 25-22, 27-25, in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference on Saturday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
Nxled tallied a 3-0 win-loss record, while Cignal has a 3-1 card. The revamped Chameleons were led by three former champions of the now-defunct Petro Gazz Angels, Brooke Van Sickle and MJ Phillips, who but put up 14 points each, while Myla Pablo added 12 markers.
Rookie setter Jules Tolentino showed up in Nxled’s straight-set win over Cignal after tallying 19 excellent sets, and added five points on offense.
Cignal was led by Erika Santos’ 15-point scoring as there were no other players that hit the double-digit mark.
