MANILA, Philippines — Nxled Chameleons picked up their second-straight win in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference at the expense of the Capital 1 Solar Spikers, 25-18, 28-26, 25-18, on Saturday at the Ynares Center in Montalban, Rizal.
The Chameleons, who won in five sets against Farm Fresh Foxies in their campaign opener last Tuesday, finished things quickly this time against the Bella Belen-led Solar Spikers.
With a championship-caliber lineup, Nxled managed to take a 2-0 lead, despite Belen’s efforts to tie the match at 1-all.
Brooke Van Sickle proved why she’s the three-time Most Valuable Player (MVP) after leading her squad to escape the five-game deadlock in the second frame.
In the third set, Nxled made sure not to allow Capital 1 to trail close after leading by 23-16, en route to a 25-18 finish.
Nxled was led by Myla Pablo and Brooke Van Sickle, who both scored 15 points each, while Lyann De Guzman and MJ Phillips added 13 and 10 points, respectively.
Bella Belen led the scoring for Capital 1 with 23 points.
