The historic trophy will be on display on Jan 25 from 10 am to 11.30 am and 1.00 pm to 9 pm at the Ground Floor, Central i-City, Shah Alam.
Besides Malaysia, the trophy will also be flown to Sydney, Australia (Jan 23), Singapore (Jan 26) and Seoul, South Korea (Jan 28).
FA of England Commercial Director Navin Singh said that he is excited to work with Astro, as the local broadcasting partner, to bring the Emirates FA Cup trophy to Malaysia as part of their Asia-Pacific Trophy Tour.
"We hope that by bringing the trophy to Kuala Lumpur, we can attract more spectators to witness the extraordinary drama and action of the FA Cup football (tournament) and show why it is the greatest national knockout competition in the world," he said in a statement today.
The Emirates FA Cup, is the oldest national cup competition in the world, where more than 700 clubs and 10,000 players representing the entire club system in English football compete in a knockout format to emerge the champion.
Liverpool won the Emirates FA Cup in 2022, while Arsenal are the top winners in the competition's history, having won it 14 times - BERNAMA.
