Bhagmender Lather posted quick-fire 57 to help Chandigarh Kings log a three-wicket win over Royal Titans on the third day of the 4th Chandigarh Premier League at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Sector 3, Panchkula.

Chasing 183, Lather smashed four boundaries and five sixes in his 27-ball inning. He was supported by Arnav Bansal (40 off 13 balls, with three boundaries and four sixes), while Akshit Rana (29 off 15 balls) and Harish Kumar (29 off 16 balls) were the other main scorers.

Earlier, opting to bat first, Titans posted 182/9 with Sanchit Sahu and Markanday Panchal scoring 42 runs, and Arjit Singh Pannu posting 37.

Harshit Singh also added 19. Rahul Singh and Nitesh Gorsi clinched two wickets each. Last evening, Manan Vohra scored 103 off 51 balls to help HIIMS Hawks to a convincing 44-run win over Rock Garden Warriors.

Batting first, Hawks posted 252/5 as Vohra’s innings was supported by Nikhil Thakur (56 off 18 balls) and Nipunn Sharda (52). In reply, Warriors fought hard through Aarush Bhandari’s 86 off 34 balls, but were bowled out for 208. Anirudh Kanwar clinched four wickets.
