Chase DeMoor is not done with the idea of an Andrew Tate rematch, but his attention has shifted to a new opponent now that the deadline for a second fight has passed.

Back in December, DeMoor secured his most significant victory by outpointing Tate in Dubai, keeping hold of his Misfits Boxing heavyweight title. The contract allowed Tate 60 days to trigger a rematch clause, but that window closed without any action.

While filming the first season of the Global Gaming League at WePlay Studios in Los Angeles, the Netflix star learnt that the rematch would not be happening. With nothing tying him down now, he has turned his focus towards Tommy Fury as his preferred next opponent.

After a rough start to his career, DeMoor has turned things around over the past few years, fighting nine times in just one year. Along the way, he has made three Misfits title defences and picked up a WBA Fedecentro belt.

Outside of boxing, the 29-year-old is also taking part in Howie Mandel’s Global Gaming League. He beat podcast host GillieDaKing in the show’s second episode and later told Bloody Elbow that his next goal is to face someone from boxing royalty.

“If I had my choice personally, I would pick Tommy Fury. I’m always pitching stuff to Mams [Taylor, Misfits Boxing founder]. Give me the survivor tag with four opponents, I want everybody, get everybody who has a win over me in the ring in one night,” he stated.

DeMoor nearly fought Roman Fury – Tyson and Tommy’s younger brother – on the undercard of KSI vs Dillon Danis last year. But when KSI withdrew due to injury just before fight week, the entire event was cancelled and their bout never got rescheduled.

This time around, he wants a fight with Tommy after building his reputation over the past 12 months.

“I would consider myself not even an influencer boxer, I have a WBA belt.

“I’ve got a lot of fights in the works, I was recently offered a million dollars to fight in Bali and I’m obviously working on negotiations with Misfits. That’s not really plausible right now so that one’s kind of got a pin in it for now.

“We’ve had names like Tommy and Darren Till come across my desk, we’re working on that a little bit and I’ll be staying busy with a few more fights in Mexico and Colombia coming up,” the 29-year-old concluded.

DeMoor recently completed filming a movie, which he indicates is set for imminent release. Additionally, his training camp for the Tate fight gained notoriety because he spent it filming what was later revealed to be the new season of Celebrity Ex On The Beach, a secretive reality TV show.
