Chelsea will make a fresh attempt for Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez before the January market closes.
Benfica management have insisted Fernandez will not be sold this month after successfully resisting Chelsea's attempts.
However, the Telegrpah says Chelsea will try again before the window shuts.
Chelsea's last offer for Fernandez was €90m plus €10m in bonuses and included the permanent transfer of Hakim Ziyech and the loans of David Datro Fofana and Andrey Santos.
