
KOTA KINABALU: Efforts are being made to prevent street kids from dominating public areas in the city.
Mayor Datuk Seri Sabin Samitah said they are working with the police to ensure incidents involving street kids do not repeat.
Commenting on a viral video showing a group of children running around the streets opposite the general market here, Sabin said they are still waiting for a police report on the matter.
Meanwhile, all 18,756 mature trees within the city are constantly ‘checked’ by the City Hall.
