
RANAU: A 54 year old local female climber died while descending from the summit of Mount Kinabalu, Kundasang, Thursday.
The woman was reported to be suffering from cold and was in weak condition at KM8 of the trail.
The Ranau Fire and Rescue Chief, Ridwan Mohd Taib, said rescuers consisting of the Mountain Search and Rescue Team, mountain guides and Sabah Park rangers brought the the victim down to Timpohon Gate.
