
Tuaran: Close cooperation between Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) and Star (BEST) will ensure that the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) wins all the seats contested in the Sabah State Election (PRN) 2025 through local parties.
Star Sabah Secretary-General Senator Datuk Edward Linggu said the cooperation forged between his party and PBS under the acronym BEST earlier this year aims to optimise the role of GRS as a coalition of local parties leading the Sabah Government.

Linggu, who is also the Chairman of the Sabah Rubber Industry Board (LIGS), said this while speaking at the Christmas and 2025 New Year celebration for Star Sabah in the Tuaran parliamentary constituency at Chanteek Borneo, Kg Lakang, Tamparuli.

The event, which featured traditional dishes and Christmas stage performances, was attended by Star leaders from the Tamparuli, Kiulu, Sulaman and Pantai Dalit divisions, as well as PBS leaders represented by Deputy Head of the PBS Tamparuli Division, Madin Anak, accompanied by Roonie Soon.
