The controversial new stained-glass windows for Paris' Notre-Dame Cathedral will soon be unveiled to the public.
Designed by French artist Claire Tabouret, the six contemporary windows will replace 19th-century panels in the cathedral's south aisle.
The project has sparked criticism from heritage campaigners, who argue the historic glass should be preserved rather than replaced, while supporters say the new works reflect the cathedral's continued evolution.
Notre-Dame, one of France's most visited attractions, was devastated by a fire in 2019 before reopening in December 2024 following a landmark restoration.
The new windows are due to be installed before the end of the year, with a public unveiling planned for December 2026.
