FC Copenhagen midfielder Rasmus Falk was left frustrated by their Champions League defeat to Manchester City.
FCK lost the first-leg of their round 16 tie 3-1 at the Parken.
Falk later said: "We would have liked to be better at holding on to the ball, but we must also respect that we are facing the world's best team.
"There was a difference between the match today and the matches against Manchester United and Galatasaray. It was next level today.
"We are extremely annoyed by the goals we concede in the two overtime periods.
"If everything had been perfect, we might have been able to create a surprise without those goals, but now it will be really, really difficult."
