PENAMPANG: District police are looking for the family of an unidentified man who was knocked and killed by a van in front of Bataras Supermarket along Jalan Bundasan, here, last Thursday.
Penampang police Chief, DSP Haris Ibrahim said the man, believed to be in his 30s, was found without any form of identification.
“Paramedics confirmed his death at the 5.30am at the scene. The body was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for a post mortem,” he said.
The public who have information or have had family members who fit the description and was missing recently are urged to contact investigating traffic officer, Inspector Firdaus Che Mustafa at 013-2006086.
