A couple allegedly died by suicide after consuming poison in Nara village of Madlauda in Haryana’s Panipat district.
The deceased were identified as Rajesh (46) and his wife Suman (44).
According to police, the couple allegedly took the extreme step due to harassment by their son, daughter-in-law and members of the daughter-in-law’s family.
Madlauda police have registered a case of abetment to suicide against four people, including the couple’s daughter-in-law and her family members.
