The announcement of the Cult Beauty advent calendar 2026 is one of the biggest indicators that, despite it being July, advent calendar season is officially underway. While Christmas may still feel some way off, the annual race for the best beauty advent calendar has already begun, with retailers revealing their 2026 line-ups, opening waitlists and even dropping pre-order links left, right and centre.
Joining the ranks, Cult Beauty has now shared the first details of its 2026 offering, giving beauty addicts an early look at what to expect from one of the year's most in-demand cosmetics collections. Although the retailer is keeping most of the contents under wraps for now, I'll be updating this guide as more information is announced, from product reveals and launch dates, to whether this year's edit lives up to its previous sell-out offerings.
With both the Liberty beauty advent calendar and Harrods beauty advent calendar having unveiled the full (lucrative) contents of their hauls, competition for the season ahead is set to be fierce. All the products within the Cult Beauty advent calendar 2026 are still being kept under cloak and dagger, but with the promise of 12 new launches (from the past 12 months) hidden within, I – as a beauty writer and expert – have a bit of an idea of what we can expect. For instance, we saw both Color Wow and K18 in the 2025 advent, both of which have launched some exciting products in 2026. Namely, I’ll be looking out for (likely in a miniature size) the K18 futureIQ biomimetic hair longevity serum and perhaps a travel-sized duo of the new Color Wow money laundering shampoo and conditioner.
As for what we do know, Cult Beauty fans are set to receive “more customer favourite brands than ever” which, when you browse the retailer’s trending section on-site, could refer to the likes of Vieve, Medik8, Gisou, Westman Atelier and more. We also know that those buying the calendar will have the chance to win one of three £1,000 Cult Beauty vouchers and that there will be a total 17 full-size items. Unfortunately, this is a three-product decrease year on year, but a £5 increase (in price. I won’t mark this change as a disappointment *just yet*, because there’s every chance Cult Beauty – expert in curation that it is – has made up for it with an even better product selection.
The retailer always delights fans with a unique calendar design, and this year the design comes courtesy of Swindler & Swindler, with a Victorian-inspired botanical spread. Much like in 2025, it’s certainly not Christmassy, but there’s something ornate and festively lavish about it nonetheless.
The waitlist for the 2026 advent calendar is now live, and this is one sign-up you don’t want to skip.
