Kota Kinabalu: Sabah's daily Covid-19 caseload shot up to 241 today, a reminder to Sabahans to practise healthy living and adherence to the SOPs, said an update shared by the spokesman for the crisis, Datuk Masidi Manjun.

Today's number was 64 cases or 36 percent more than yesterday's with more districts seeing increases in new cases.

Today's positivity rate was also high at 11.23 percent, another indicator that the virus was transmitting fast.

A total of 237 of today's cases were asymptomatic or light infections while the remaining two each were in the hospitalisation and ICU categories.
