THE four children of the late Tun Daim Zainuddin, a former Finance Minister, are expected to give their statements at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters today.

Berita Harian was informed that Asnida, Md Wira Dani, Muhammad Amir Zainuddin, and Muhammad Amin Zainuddin are scheduled to give statements to MACC officers at 9:30 am.

A senior MACC officer who confirmed the matter said that the process of recording statements will begin today.

He, however, refused to comment further on the matter.

Previously, it was reported that a Notice to Trace Individuals was issued against four of the late Daim's children following their failure to respond and non-compliance with two official notices submitted by the MACC regarding asset declarations.

They are Asnida, Md Wira Dani, Muhammed Amir Zainuddin and Muhammed Amin Zainuddin.

According to the MACC, the notice was issued after no response was received and efforts to contact the four were unsuccessful as of February 26. – April 6, 2026
