KUALA LUMPUR - The woman and two children found dead in a condominium in Desa ParkCity last Thursday died of stabs to the neck.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Fadil Marsus said autopsies on the son and daughter carried out at the National Forensic Medicine Institute, Kuala Lumpur Hospital yesterday indicated they died of stab wounds to the neck.
"The autopsy on the woman (wife) … found that death was caused by sharp force injuries to the neck and chest,” he said in a statement here today, adding that the autopsy of the suspect, who was the woman’s husband, is expected to be completed this afternoon.
All of the bodies have yet to be claimed by their next of kin and it can only be done after the suspect’s autopsy is completed at about 6 pm today.
On claims that the motif of the incident was linked to a love scam and illegal investments, Fadil said that the victim’s family knew of it, but the police were conducting further investigation to confirm the matter.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code and as a sudden death. - BERNAMA
