Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s caseload continued to dip to 139 on Sunday from 154 the day earlier with 83.45 per cent being sporadic infections.
Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the dip was due to a lower number of test samples and a decrease of cases in Kota Kinabalu from 91 to 68.
“The number of test samples is fewer on the weekend which was 1,728 on Sunday compared to 2,162 the day before,” he said in a statement, Sunday.
Kota Kinabalu topped the list with 68 cases, followed by Penampang (24), Tuaran (12), Papar (8), Sandakan (6) and Tawau (5).
Masidi said eight districts recorded a decrease while seven recorded an increase, adding that 15 districts did not record any new cases.
He added that 137 out of 139 cases were category one and two infections, while two cases were in category three. No deaths or new clusters were identified.
