‘Drag Race Philippines’ Season 4 introduces 12 queens ahead of September premiere

MANILA, Philippines — The race for the crown is officially on as “Drag Race Philippines” unveiled the 12 queens who will compete in its highly anticipated fourth season.

The cast was introduced on Aug. 26 through a “Meet the Queens” video released by WOW Presents Plus, with host Paolo Ballesteros, welcoming the queens in an underwater-inspired setting. The aquatic theme sets the tone for what promises to be another splashy season of the Philippine drag competition.

The 12 queens competing in Season 4 are Maureen Biology, Katana, Ghulli Ghush, Manza, Bombalicious Eklaver, Valeria Ortega, Taylor Sheesh, Dixxxy Decoy, Bhorj Gum, Andy Crocker, Merckz, and Misua.

The fourth season is scheduled to premiere on Sept. 25 on WOW Presents Plus, where the queens will compete in challenges, runway presentations and performances as they battle for the title of the Philippines’ next Drag Superstar.

This season carries an especially emotional significance following the death of Misua, who passed away in her sleep on April 2 at the age of 27 while the season was in production. World of Wonder and “Drag Race Philippines” confirmed her death and temporarily paused production to support the cast and crew.

Despite the heartbreaking loss, Misua remains part of the Season 4 cast, with her inclusion in the official “Meet the Queens” lineup giving fans an opportunity to see her presence celebrated as the new season begins.

“Drag Race Philippines” returns following the success of its third season and the franchise’s international spinoff, “Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale,” which crowned Brigiding as its winner.

The Philippine edition is based on the international “RuPaul’s Drag Race” franchise and is hosted by Ballesteros, who has become a familiar face to fans of the local competition.

Previous winners of “Drag Race Philippines” include Precious Paula Nicole, Captivating Katkat, and Maxie.

With 12 queens now entering the race, the question remains: Who will have the charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent to snatch the crown and become the Philippines’ next Drag Superstar?

The answer begins unfolding when “Drag Race Philippines” Season 4 premieres on Sept. 25 on WOW Presents Plus.
