Driver suffers minor injuries after car struck repeatedly

Kuala Lumpur: A motorist escaped with minor injuries after his car was struck three times in a series of crashes along Jalan Duta near the Duta Toll Plaza on Sunday night.

A video posted by a Threads user showed a silver Perodua Myvi and a black saloon car stopped in the rightmost lane following an earlier accident, with the Myvi’s hazard lights activated to warn approaching motorists.

The black car was seen positioned perpendicular to the lane before a third vehicle travelling along the same stretch failed to stop in time and crashed into it moments later.

The impact sent the black car skidding across the four-lane highway towards the road shoulder.

As the vehicle approached the leftmost lane, a fourth car also failed to stop in time and struck it before both vehicles came to rest across the left lane and road shoulder.

There has been no official statement from the authorities, although another Threads user claimed the driver of the car that was hit three times was his friend and suffered only minor injuries.

Another video posted by a social media user showed two individuals moving around the vehicle unaided while an ambulance was seen nearby.
