SANDAKAN: A driver escaped physical injury after a Ford Ranger skidded off the road along Jalan Lintas Utara near Taman Nasalim here on Wednesday.
The Sandakan Fire and Rescue Station dispatched eight personnel, comprising a Fire Rescue Tender (FRT) crew and an Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) unit, following a distress call at 4.45pm.
According to the operations commander, the single-vehicle accident left the sole occupant uninjured but traumatised.
Firefighters calmed the victim before handing them over to family members, and the operation concluded at 5.38pm after the scene was rendered safe.
