
A RECENT Senate election preference survey conducted by Arkipelago Analytics showed a tight race at the top with Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte, Naga City Mayor Maria Leonor Robredo, and Sen. Robinhood Padilla sharing the lead, each registering 48 percent voter preference.
Trailing closely are Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto and Sen. Loren Legarda who both posted 45 percent support, placing them in fourth to fifth positions.
Sen. Raffy Tulfo and Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano followed with 42 percent each, ranking sixth to seventh.
Completing the top ten were Davao City 2nd District Rep. Paolo Duterte, Sen. Francis Escudero, and Sen. Mark Villar, each recording 39 percent voter preference.
Former senator Grace Poe-Llamanzares and actor Dingdong Dantes rounded out the top twelve, both with 35 percent.
A cluster of candidates remained within striking distance of the leading group. Sen. Jinggoy Estrada, broadcaster Ben Tulfo, Makati Mayor Nancy Binay, Quezon City Mayor Joy” Belmonte, and entertainer Vice Ganda each posted 33 percent.
Former senator Manny Pacquiao, along with lawyer Jimmy Bondoc and Education Secretary Sonny Angara, followed with 30 percent each.
Other candidates continued to register measurable voter support. Social Works Secretary Rex Gatchalian and Sen. JV Ejercito both posted 28 percent, while former Commission on Elections commissioner Rowena Guanzon and former senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. each recorded 27 percent.
The survey was conducted from May 26 to June 2, 2026 using face-to-face interviews with 2,637 adults aged 18 and above. It employed regional stratification across all 18 regions and urban-rural clustering. The poll carried a ±2 percent margin of error at a 96 percent confidence level, with subnational margins of ±5 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
Respondent weights were adjusted based on Comelec voter registration data, while socioeconomic classification followed standard segmentation, with 7 percent ABC, 75 percent D, and 18 percent E.
