MANILA, Philippines — Filipino tennis ace Alex Eala guaranteed herself $105,720 or P6.3 million prize money after reaching the BNP Paribas Open fourth round (round of 16) on Monday.
Eala advanced after getting a walkover win against Coco Gauff in their round of 32 clash, 6-2, 2-0, at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden Stadium 1.
Eala takes on Czech Linda Noskova in the fourth round likely on Wednesday.
If Eala wins their round of 16 encounter, she will secure $193,645 or P11.5 million prize money.
