Ed Sheeran performed for the England team following their 3-2 World Cup win against Mexico.
Footage shared by The Three Lions’ official YouTube page shows the singer performing an acoustic version of his 2017 hit “Castle on the Hill” for the players, who had returned to their tournament base in Kansas.
The singer is no stranger to playing for the squad, after Harry Kane first invited him down to the team’s camp for the Euro 2020 tournament, played in 2021 due to covid.
“It’s been great, it’s been a nice little tradition. Since the first time I played for the lads in 2021 we’ve bonded, so it’s never a tough crowd.”
