Eddie Hearn’s new talent agency has made its second signing – and this one has nothing to do with MMA or boxing.
The Matchroom Boxing boss caused a stir in both sports last month when he added Tom Aspinall to his Matchroom Talent Agency. Until now, the UFC heavyweight champion was the only name on his books, but that changed with an announcement earlier today.
Just 21 years old, Pollock already holds several records in Rugby Union and is tipped to be a key figure for England at next year’s World Cup in Australia.

It’s worth noting that Eddie Hearn and his father, Barry, have long run a business that goes far beyond just boxing. The Matchroom umbrella also includes the Professional Darts Corporation, World Snooker, and several others under the MultiSport brand.
The agency’s first major move was signing Aspinall, and now Pollock has joined as well.
“I watched this kid and I immediately thought: Superstar,” he said in a statement this afternoon. “I honestly believe he can singlehandedly ignite this sport and I am delighted to welcome him to the Matchroom family.
“With Henry, alongside UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall, we are building a team of all stars – and we have many more top names still to bring in as our new Matchroom Talent Agency makes huge strides forward.”
Pollock added: “I’m delighted to be joining forces with Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Talent Agency alongside Stellar Rugby at such an exciting stage in my career.
“Their experience and vision in the global sports market make them the perfect partners to help me grow both on and off the field, and I’m looking forward to what we can all achieve together.”
