How to recognize ED and navigate through it.
In today's AI's World we still have unexplained mysteries and supernatural occurrences that science has not been able to figure out completely
Among them are phenomena like; Ego Death, OBE's NDE's, and TGA.
What are they?
Have you ever experienced or affected by a - NDE (Near Death Experience) or an OBE (Out-of- Body Experience), Ego Death, ( Dark Night of the Soul), or TGA ( Transient Global Amnesia)?
Well, they are inter-related and I had experienced all of them.
First off, let's look at what is NDE & OBE.
My testimony.
Many years ago when I was a high level executive involved in operational start ups, I had the most profound and frightening experience of my life.
I was undergoing tremendous stress, working non stop, balancing career, marriage and raising family. It got so bad that after the birth of my daughter, I had a mental breakdown.
I collapsed, blank out, and then experienced a NDE, followed by an OBE. - Out-of-Body Experience.

The OBE happened when a group of people came and prayed for me. During the prayers I lost my consciousness and felt my soul left my body and lifted up to the cosmos.
I was surrounded by bright white lights and the surrounding was peaceful and serene. It was like being connected with the Divine.
My soul floated up to the ceiling and I observed relatives and friends sobbing, praying, trying to resuscitate me.
‘What happened?’ I thought. ‘ Did I die?’
Yes. I did die temporary. It was an NDE and OBE. My soul later return to my body and I was alive again.
That experience which I never knew what it was at that time was actually an Ego Death.

What is Ego Death?
Ego death refers to the complete, if temporary, dissolution of one's sense of individual self. It is a total loss of memory, and of who you are. The ego makes ‘YOU’.
It is the utter collapse of the boundary between "I" and "everything else." The ordinary sense that you are a separate, continuous entity. You do not know your gender, belief, race, job.
Your past with a name, a history, a future — vanishes.
What remains is pure awareness, unattached to any particular identity.
Simply put - you lose your identity.
Many people have experienced it and it is usually followed by NDE and OBE.
What causes Ego Death?
These are the various factors that can trigger an Ego Death.
- Extreme depression.
- Loss of meaning in life.
- Loss of loved ones.
- Divorce.
- Financial loss.
- Abusive relationship.
- Abandonment.
- Overstressed.
- Undergoing a turmoil illness.
- Any other life's tumultuous conditions.
Types of Ego Death.
Type 1 - Psychological. Natural.

Stages in an Ego Death & NDE & OBE.
- Extreme depression & stress
- Mind blank out.
- Lose your consciousness. Blank.
- Feel dead or actually died.
- Bright light comes and lift up your soul.
- You float up. Consciousness back.
- Observe things around you.
- In a peaceful and equanimity stage. Like Heaven.
9. Back to reality. Embrace new perspective on life.
Ask those who experienced severe critical illness and survived. Their experiences in and out of ICUs and they will tell you the typical encounters with their gods, images and angels (depending on their religion) surrounding them at the operating table.
2. Spiritual - Self Induced.
aka Dark Night of the Soul.
These are self- induced and can be dangerous. You actually induce it through various mediums.
Examples:
- Meditation. Monks, Yogi, nuns, or mediums. They can attain ED through rituals or meditation.
Psychedelic. This one is self- induced by using drugs like LSD.

An overdose of drugs can also stimulate an ED.
Differences between Ego Death, OBE, NDE and TGA.*
Usually when Ego Death occurs it is followed by NDE, then an OBE.
TGA is totally different.

This is more of a neuro medical condition. It has no spiritual awakening or experience. But it shares the ‘loss of memory’ characteristic.
My testimony.
I had TGA twice in my life. It happened about 10 years apart and it occurred also under extreme life challenging situations.
When TGA happens you also lose your memory. For my case I vomited few times before the attack came. I was in my apartment engaged in some stock trading one evening when suddenly my mind blank out! Maybe this is the cause - the intense concentration on the stocks. I lost myself. My memory vanished.
I didn't know who I was and was taken to GH Emergency by my family members. They did MRI scans on my brain and warded me for two nights for observation. I could not recall my past but on the second day my memory came back surprisingly. I saw my wife and children sitting by my bedside and could recognized them. Thank God!
That was the most unforgettable experience of my life and I am taking three types of medicines until now because the doctor wrote the diagnosis as ‘suspected mild stroke’
The MRI result was clean. Later I was treated for TGA.
Conclusion.
ED is like snakes shedding their skin. It's the dying of the ‘old self' in order to gain a new - YOU. It is the spiritual awakening of the soul. If you are undergoing a rough patch in your life, allow ED to happen naturally. Do not force it. It can be dangerous if things go wrong.
These are some of the metaphysical aspects of our lives that science has no complete answers yet.
