Eklavya School, Jalandhar, organised a vibrant and engaging six-day summer camp. The first day of the camp was based on the exciting theme “Airport and Fun Park”. The balloon games and ball activities brought excitement and energy among the participants while promoting teamwork and coordination. The paper dance competition added an element of fun and encouraged students to think creatively while balancing and moving carefully. Students showcased their imagination through best out of waste activities, where they transformed everyday discarded materials into beautiful and useful creations. The cooking without fire session was one of the most loved activities of the camp. Artistic talents flourished through pebble painting, block painting, tie and dye, paper flower making, and collage work. The yoga sessions conducted during the camp promoted physical fitness, concentration, flexibility, and mental well-being. Special sessions on self-grooming and table manners were organised to help students develop confidence, personal hygiene habits, and social etiquette. Creative paper-based activities such as paper crafting, paper folding (origami), shoelace tying, and tie-knot practice helped students improve their hand-eye coordination, patience, and problem-solving abilities. The camp also included exciting entertainment and recreational activities such as movie time, treasure hunt, puppet shows, Zumba sessions, passing the ball games, and one-minute challenges. Students explored their artistic side through nail art, vase making, and wall hanging creation using ice-cream sticks. The cultural spirit of Punjab came alive during the bhangra sessions, where students enthusiastically performed traditional dance moves. The summer camp concluded on a successful and cheerful note, leaving students with unforgettable memories, new friendships, enhanced skills, and renewed confidence.
