DAV Public Senior Secondary School, Bharoli, hosted a one-day CBSE capacity building programme on the theme “Learning Outcomes and Pedagogies”. The workshop was organised with the objective of strengthening teachers’ professional competencies and promoting effective classroom practices aligned with the National Education Policy and CBSE guidelines. The CBSE resource persons were Ranjana Prashar, a seasoned educator and trainer with 24 years of experience across India and founder and curator of The Eternal Lighthouse, and Preety Kaushal, TGT (Science) at Sacred Heart Convent School, Dhalli, Shimla. The workshop provided valuable insights into the significance of clearly defined learning outcomes and the selection of appropriate pedagogical strategies to achieve them. Through interactive sessions, group discussions and hands-on activities, participants explored ways to create engaging, learner-centred classrooms that foster critical thinking, creativity and active participation among students.
