MANILA, Philippines — Filipino gymnast Karl Eldrew Yulo seized the gold medal in floor exercise event at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup Antalya leg in Turkey Saturday evening in Manila.
Yulo, the younger brother of 2-time Olympic champ Carlos, racked up 14.100 points for his first gold medal in the seniors division.
Irish Eamon Montgomery finished second to Yulo and claimed the silver with 13.833 points, while Spanish Rayderley Zapata snared the bronze medal with 13.333 points.
