
PAITAN: Elvira Latius was crowned as the 2024 Paitan Unduk Ngadau champion at the Paitan Sub-District Level Kaamatan Festival Celebration which took place at the Paitan District Council Open Hall, last Saturday.
As the champion, Elvira, who defeated nine other beauties, took home a cash prize of RM5,000, a crown, certificate, bouquet of flowers, hamper and other accompanying gifts.
Elvira will also represent Paitan at the State-level Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan competition at the end of the month.
Second place was won by Yulianah George who brought home a cash prize of RM3,000 and other accompanying prizes, while the third place went to Kimberly Jane Prisley who received a cash prize of RM1,500 and other accompanying prizes.
