Kota Kinabalu: An Association of Consulting Engineers Malaysia (ACEM) Sabah Branch delegation led by Chairman Benny Song, met with Utility Corridor Sabah Chairman Datuk Dr Johnson Tee at KK Times Square to discuss streamlining utility infrastructure processes across the State.

The meeting brought together senior engineers including Datuk Dr Amarjit Singh and several committee members with utility corridor officials to address key operational challenges facing the industry.

General Manager Joharin Zanudin briefed the delegation on current guidelines for utility wayleave applications, route planning procedures and fee structures that directly impact engineering consultancy work in Sabah.

The initiative reflects growing industry efforts to improve coordination between consulting engineers and regulatory bodies, potentially leading to more efficient utility and infrastructure development processes Statewide.

Both organisations expressed commitment to ongoing collaboration aimed at reducing bureaucratic hurdles and enhancing service delivery for Sabah's development needs.
