Ethan Wady made the Chelsea bench for Sunday's defeat at Manchester City.

The American goalkeeper was drafted in after a late injury forced Joao Felix out of the game.

Wady, 21, has been with Chelsea since 2017 and was born and raised in San Diego, California. He and his family moved to London six years ago after committing to the Blues academy.

During his time at Chelsea, Wady has tasted senior football on-loan with Tooting, Mitcham United, Dartford, Hendon, and Woking.

Kepa Arrizabalaga was in goal at City, with fellow senior keeper Edouard Mendy on the bench, along with Wady.
