Former Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti is baffled by Aurelio de Laurentiis' actions over Luciano Spalletti's contract.
Spalletti is wanted by FIGC for the Italy coaching position, but he remains contracted to Napoli despite stepping down at the end of last season.
Napoli president De Laurentiis is demanding FIGC pay 3m to release Spalletti, but Moratti says: "I understand that for De Laurentiis there is a question of principle with Spalletti, but I don't see any mental flexibility, any generosity.
"If for him 3 million euros are few, for me they would be even less and I would not have stopped in front of this thing, I would not have hindered it."
