Former Manchester City boss Stuart Pearce says Erling Haaland will need time to settle.
Pearce was reacting to Haaland's debut in City's Community Shield defeat to Liverpool.
He told VG: "It is clear that Haaland and his new teammates are not on the same wavelength yet. I don't think they have used their new striker as well as they could have done yet.
"If you had asked Haaland after the match against Liverpool if he was supported as he wanted, he would probably have said no.
"He won't be happy with that match."
