Brandon Burgess attempted to attend every single Formula 1 race in 2025, but found one Grand Prix proved more testing than any other.
Following the entire calendar meant travelling all over the world, not to mention the cost of race tickets, hotels, and other survival costs.
What made Burgess’ endeavour even more impressive is that he stuck to a strict £20,000 budget. Even with such a shoestring budget, one race experience left a bad taste in his mouth.

F1 fan names Las Vegas and Brazilian Grand Prix as his worst experience across 2025 season
Speaking in an interview on the Chequered Flag podcast, Brandon Burgess was asked to name which races were the worst and toughest experience for him in his quest to attend every race in 2025.
Burgess noted that it was the Las Vegas and Brazilian Grand Prix that proved to be the most challenging, just due to how packed the travel schedule was for him.
“Yes, probably either Brazil or Vegas. I landed in Brazil on Saturday morning and went straight to the track. One night in Brazil, I went to the track on Sunday, and then flew home Sunday night.
“With Vegas, I was literally there for one day. I landed, was there for about 30 hours, and then flew back to Chicago. Them two were the most challenging in terms of like just tiredness and relentless travel.”
Following Formula 1 around the world comes at a cost
Clearly, even on a budget, Burgess had to spend a great deal of money to attend every Formula 1 race in the 2025 season.
What makes his endeavour impressive is that he managed to pull it off on such a tight budget, especially considering how expensive Formula 1 races can be to attend.
One of the biggest criticisms levelled at Formula 1 is how inaccessible the live experience of watching a race is for regular fans.
Of course, races like Las Vegas in particular are very painful on the pocket, not just because of the price of entry, but also the high cost of tourism fundamentals in the city.
But as time goes on, as Formula 1 looks to attract a greater audience, they must try and reduce ticket costs to help attract more viewers across different financial brackets to their events.
