
KOTA BELUD: Four people were injured after the car they were in was crushed by a fallen tree at Jalan Rosok Bengkahak here, Friday.
It was learnt that the incident occurred at around 9.30am.
AdvertisementKota Belud Fire and Rescue Station Chief, Muhammad Syazwan Latun, said a distress call regarding the incident was received at 9.44am.
He said seven personnel, including an officer, were dispatched to the scene with one fire engine and an Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) utility vehicle.

Read more “Upon arrival, the team was informed that the five victims had been taken to Kota Belud Hospital by members of the public.
“The driver reportedly escaped unscathed while the four passengers received treatment at Kota Belud Hospital for their injuries,” he said.

“The operation was called off at 10.11am after ensuring that there were no further dangers,” he said.
