A 19-year-old man committed suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of a house in Bhangrola village after his family discovered he was in a live-in relationship.
Police sent the body for a post-mortem examination and launched an investigation. According to police, the deceased was identified as Vishal, a resident of Manona village in Agra district, Uttar Pradesh.
He lived in a rented house in Bhangrola village and worked for a private company in Manesar. It is being said that Vishal was in a live-in relationship with a young woman.
The two had rented the room by posing as husband and wife to the landlord. Initial investigations revealed that both families had recently learned of their relationship. Following this, the young man had become mentally stressed.
On Saturday night, he jumped from the fourth floor of the house. He was rushed to the hospital in serious condition, where doctors declared him dead. After receiving the information, a police team from Kherki Daula police station arrived at the scene.
Police said statements from family members are being recorded, and a further probe is underway.
