EA Sports UFC 6 lands on 19 June for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with Alex Pereira and Max Holloway headlining the cover.
The game is being promoted around deeper fighter individuality, with movement, striking and strengths designed to reflect real-life styles more closely.
That has made early ratings a major talking point, especially after Islam Makhachev and Khamzat Chimaev’s numbers started circulating among MMA fans.
Fans question Khamzat Chimaev and Islam Makhachev UFC 6 ratings

EA Sports has revealed stats about Makhachev and Chimaev’s characters in the game and got fans debating on X.
The biggest talking point was takedowns. ‘Borz’ has been given a 99 rating, while the welterweight champion sits just behind him on 98.
One fan wrote: “Respectfully, Khamzat’s takedowns are nowhere near this technical.”
“How the f— Khamzat score more points in takedowns? All Khamzat knows about takedown are either double leg or single leg, while Islam can execute takedowns from any position and under any circumstances using his Judo and Sambo skills” another fan questioned.
Chimaev’s 96 submission offence also drew criticism, with one fan saying it should drop after his performances against Dricus du Plessis and Sean Strickland.
The discussion was not all one way. Some fans questioned Makhachev having a higher punch power rating.
“How does Makhachev got more punch power than Khamzat?” wrote another X user.
Chimaev’s 92 cardio rating also became a target, as fans argued that stamina should not be so generous given questions raised in recent fights.
Those debates show why UFC 6 ratings matter beyond gaming. For MMA fans, they become a public ranking of skill, reputation and realism.
It also shows that the defeat to Sean Strickland appeared to have heavily affected Chimaev’s status among fans
