A 30-year-old grocery shop owner was beaten to death in Sector 21-C market in Faridabad. An FIR was registered and the police have arrested three accused within 24 hours in the case.
The deceased was identified as Balram, a resident of Mewla Maharjapur village in Faridabad who was attacked by some people on the road near Sector 21-C market. After getting information, a police team reached the spot and rushed the injured to hospital where doctors declared him dead.
Following the complaint of Birju, alias Beer Singh, an FIR was registered at the Surajkund police station and the police arrested three accused within 24 hours. The arrested accused were identified as Himanshu, Vivek and Abhay, residents of Sector 46, Faridabad. “The accused revealed that they drank alcohol with the victim Balram on Monday night and then took him on a scooter to Sector-21C Market Road. At the road they had an argument and they brutally thrashed Balram on his head with sticks and fled from the spot. ” said a spokesperson of the Faridabad police.
