KENINGAU: A father and his four-year-old daughter died in an accident involving a Toyota Avanza and a Nissan Navara along KM16 Jalan Apin-Apin, here, Sunday.
District police chief Supt Yampil Garai said the deceased were the Avanza driver, Masino Gelong, 45, and Claeryina Mecthildis Masino.
The other injured victims in the 12.22am incident were Masino’s wife, Chelrina Philip, 33, and their foue other children Mattheo Charbel, 2, Mica Chelsino, 7, Charlene Myra, 9, and Camellia Mae, 11.
Yampil said the Avanza was heading towards Apin-Apin while the Navara was travelling in the opposite direction.
