Father, daughter trapped after container falls on car in Sepangar Bay

Kota Kinabalu: A father and daughter were trapped in a Toyota Avanza after a lorry container fell on the vehicle in Sepangar Bay on Sunday.

The Fire and Rescue Department received a distress call at 6.31pm.

Rescuers launched operations to extricate the man, in his 50s, and his 23-year-old daughter, but required a crane from the haulage company, which was still en route at press time.

Police were also deployed to the scene.
