Recently, a shocking incident at a restaurant in Kuala Lumpur has gone viral on social media, sparking discussions about public encounters with beggars.
The video, shared by TikTok user @sfh.reez, shows a woman beggar physically attacking a man after he refused to give her a cigarette.
In the video, the woman is seen repeatedly hitting the man on his back with her hands, clearly upset after her request was turned down.
The incident unfolded as the young man was having his meal at a local mamak stall when the beggar approached him and asked him for something.
The man, remaining calm and composed, ignored her request for assistance and suggested she ask someone else for help.
However, the beggar’s frustration boiled over, and she reacted angrily, striking the man multiple times before leaving the scene.

In the comment section, the OP revealed that the woman had actually asked him for a cigarette, saying, ‘She wanted a cigarette, bro. But even though she’s not our flesh and blood, we should still care for her health. Who knows, maybe one day she’ll understand why we didn’t give her that cigarette.’
