LAHAD DATU: Four houses were damaged in a fire at Kampung Binuang 1, Jalan Tungku, on Monday afternoon.
The Fire and Rescue Department received a call at 2.59pm and a team of 16 firefighters from the Lahad Datu station arrived at the scene within minutes.
The operation, with support from police and Sabah Electricity, brought the fire under control at 3.53pm before it was fully extinguished at 4.45pm.
No casualties were reported in the incident, which destroyed one house completely while three others sustained partial damage.
