LAHAD DATU: A 57-year-old woman was injured when two cars collided at KM12 Jalan Lahad Datu–Felda near the MPOB area on Saturday morning.
The accident, involving a Perodua Myvi and a Proton Saga, was reported at 10.45am before firefighters from the Lahad Datu station arrived at the scene 13 minutes later.
The woman, who was travelling in the Myvi, was safely rescued by firefighters before being given initial treatment and handed over to medical personnel for further care.
The driver of the Proton Saga escaped without injury, and the operation ended at 11.09am after the site was confirmed safe.
