KUNAK: A wooden house, a car and two motorcycles were destroyed in a fire at Jalan Pangi near Pantai Sarina here on Tuesday evening.
District Fire and Rescue chief Mohamad Omarbatha said they received a distress call at 6.47pm and arrived at the scene about 10 minutes later.
A team of 15 firefighters, with support vehicles including FRT, EMRS and an Urvan, rushed to the site located 8km from the station.
The blaze quickly engulfed the 30ft by 30ft wooden house, and also consumed a Hyundai car and two motorcycles before firefighters managed to contain it by 7.10pm.
No casualties were reported and the cause of the fire, as well as the estimated losses, are still under investigation.
