KUALA SELANGOR - A fisherman who thought that he had caught a fish ended up finding a crocodile instead in a trap he set up last night at Sungai Rantau Panjang.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Wan Md Razali Wan Ismail said that the man in his 20s was shocked to find the reptile stuck in his trap yesterday.
"Our team received an emergency call at about 9.37am and a total of five members from Bestari Jaya Fire and Rescue Station had gone to the scene," he said.
Razali pointed out that as soon as the team arrived, they saw a two-metre-long crocodile stuck in the trap.
"There were no injuries on the fisherman involved and we had taken the crocodile to the bank and tied it with a suitable rope and then released it in a local settlement," he noted.
