
SEMPORNA: Five people, including two Chinese tourists, were injured in a three-vehicle collision at KM38 along Jalan Semporna-Tawau on Sunday.
District Police Chief Supt Mohd Sabri Zainol said the accident, which occurred at about 10am, involved a tourist bus, a four-wheel drive (4WD), and a Perodua Bezza.
Advertisement (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});Preliminary investigations found that the Perodua Bezza’s driver lost control, veered into the opposite lane, and collided with the tourist bus before the 4WD struck the bus.
All three vehicles sustained severe damage, and the injured, including the drivers and two tourists, were sent to Semporna Hospital for treatment.
