KOTA MARUDU: A FoodPanda delivery rider died at Kota Marudu Hospital on Sunday, nearly four hours after a road accident left him with serious head injuries and brain bleeding.
Mohd Shahriman, 28, was involved in the crash at Jalan Simpang Kampung Bunsadan at around 11.30am.
His motorcycle collided with a Perodua Kancil driven by a 68-year-old woman after the car pulled out from a left junction and cut into his lane.
Kota Marudu District Police Chief Supt Simiun Lomudin said preliminary investigations showed that the motorcycle was travelling from Pekan Tandek towards Pekan Goshen when the crash happened.
“As the motorcycle passed the roundabout, it hit the Kancil which had suddenly pulled out from the left junction and cut into its path,” he said.
